Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Don't hesitate to reach out.

Do I need a GP referral?+

No referral is needed to book — you can contact me directly. However, a GP referral (Mental Health Care Plan) entitles you to Medicare rebates of up to $136.35 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. I can help guide you through this process.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?+

If you're struggling, therapy is right for you. You don't need to be in crisis. Many of my clients come to therapy simply to understand themselves better or to navigate a difficult transition. Book a free 15-min consultation and we can figure it out together.

Do you offer telehealth?+

Yes! I offer telehealth sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Telehealth is a great option if you're travelling, prefer the comfort of your own space, or live outside of Melbourne.

How many sessions will I need?+

It varies enormously. Some clients find significant relief in 6–8 sessions. Others prefer longer-term support. We'll review progress regularly and you're always in charge of how long we work together.

Is what I share confidential?+

Absolutely. Everything you share with me is confidential under the Australian Privacy Act and the APS Code of Ethics. There are very narrow exceptions (e.g. immediate risk to life) which I'll explain clearly in our first session.
